Old Meets New

Something that has always captured my eye is how beautiful and interesting old things are. I love to imagine the history in the walls of old buildings and try envision what they were like in their “prime”.

In Dallas, there is no shortage of cool industrial buildings being refurbished. I love the elegance of a wedding dress against a concrete floor and exposed beams of a renovated loft. Opposites attract right? As a wedding photographer, I enjoy looking for interesting textures and backdrops that catch the eye. So for me, industrial wedding venues are a photographer’s playground.
